Spinning & Weaving

Tina Enlander, an EAU3A member is a creative textile artist with a BA Hons & MSc.  These workshops are small in that there’s a maximum of two attendees at each.  Spinning will be a 3 hour session and Weaving also, they can be booked together for a discount or singly.  Monday 16 July & Friday 10 August.

A taste of Spinning: 3 hour workshop using Ashford Spinning Wheel.  Learn to prepare and jcard raw fleece for spinning.  Understand the mechanics of the wheel.  Master treadling and spin a length of your own yarn. All prices include materials.  £20

A taste of Weaving: 3 hour workshop using an Ashford rigid heddle loom.  Learn the basic machanics of weaving.  Create an exciting samplers using interesting yarns, fabrics and trimmings.  All prices include materials.  £20
